"Long time state farm customer. With this rep it has been a complete failure with transferring my policy to him (had to pay as if "new" policy, not transfer). Over triple the cost for multiple months in a row. I removed the coverage on 2 of my vehicles, yet the bill charged didn't reduce, despite what I was quoted over text. I expect this type of nonsense from the scam insurance agents, absolutely unacceptable from state farm."

"Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I want to sincerely apologize that your experience with our office did not meet your expectations. At our office, we strive to provide excellent service to every customer, and it’s unfortunate that your recent visit fell short. I understand your concerns regarding the challenges you faced during the transition of your policies. State Farm is currently rolling out software updates across different states, and unfortunately, the timing of these updates varies. Due to these software differences, it is impossible to simply transfer policies from one state to another. Instead, we must process everything as new business, which can lead to additional steps and complexity. Additionally, the billing issues you encountered stem from the absence of a down payment for the first month, which results in the difference being spread over a three-month period. Regarding Texas rates, they are indeed higher compared to some other states due to factors such as larger population density, increased traffic, higher vehicle theft rates, more frequent severe weather events, a greater likelihood of wild animal collisions, and a higher percentage of uninsured drivers. While these factors are outside of our control, we are committed to helping our customers navigate these complexities and find solutions that best suit their needs. Please know that my team works diligently to provide the highest level of service, even as we manage processes dictated by State Farm corporate. I regret that your experience left you feeling dissatisfied, and I appreciate your feedback as it helps us identify areas for improvement. "I actually did a Google quote, so I got information from serval companies. State Farm wasn't necessarily the cheapest, but they did have an actual agent who contacted me, and I like that. Hayden could have been pushy to some, but for me he was very kind and it helped me remember what I needed to do. Most of it was done through text, so I liked that, but I could call if I needed to. He gave me several quotes that I was able to compare with my current company. Overall, it was very easy to switch and a huge savings from who I was with(for 16 years no less)."
